NDIS
How Mycarehub can help
We’re a registered NDIS provider and ready to connect you with the right support to help you reach your goals.
What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is Australia’s way of making sure people with disabilities have the support they need to live the life they want. If you have a permanent and significant disability, the NDIS provides you with direct funding so you can access the support services that matter to you. Whether that’s help with personal care, getting out into the community, finding work, spending time with family and friends, or building new skills—the NDIS is there to help you do it.
Eligibility
The NDIS website has a helpful guide to give you a sense of whether you might be eligible, but NDEA makes the final call on your eligibility.
How do I apply?
Getting into the NDIS does involve some paperwork and planning, but it’s totally doable. You’ll need to share information about your disability and what kinds of support would help you live your best life. Your doctor, specialists, or allied health workers can help you gather this information.
The process takes time, so it’s worth taking your time to think about what support you actually need and what your budget might look like.
Here’s how to get started: Contact the NDIS and fill in an
Access Request Form. It’s the first official step, and it launches the whole process.

The NDIS can be complex to navigate and overwhelming at times.
Here’s the good news: You don’t have to figure this out alone. Our team at Mycarehub is here to help you understand the NDIS, navigate your application, and make the most of the process so you can get the support you need.

A National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan outlines your goals and aspirations for living a full and equal life. It also names what services or supports you need. Plans can take into account your current needs and future goals.
Only if it’s identified as one of your goals. A big part of the thinking behind the NDIS is that living a full life starts with being a part of your community and having the same opportunities as everybody else. Getting a job and participating in the economy can greatly improve your circumstances and your well-being, which is why it could become a goal in your plan.
