Our History
Mycarehub is an Australian owned, family run organisation that is passionate about providing quality services and choice to people with a disability. Our Co-founder, Michael, is an NDIS participant himself. Based on his lived experience, Michael understands how important it is to have support workers that provide quality and caring supports. This is his inspiration for establishing an organisation that cares.
Our Story
We built Mycarehub because the system wasn't working. We know, because we've lived it.
Michael, our co-founder, is an NDIS participant. Not a former one. Not someone who once worked adjacent to the scheme. Someone who still lives the journey every single day.
And for a long time, that journey was frustrating.
Waiting on support workers who didn’t show. Staring at invoices that made no sense. That quiet, uncomfortable feeling that you’re just another number on a roster, not a person with goals and a life to live.
Too many providers are busy growing. Not enough are busy listening.
So Michael didn’t just look for a better provider. He built one.
And he didn’t build it alone. He built it with Rebecca, and with family, because that’s the onlyway to create the kind of trust and accountability that can’t be faked or franchised.
Mycarehub has been supporting participants across Greater Sydney for over seven years.We’re based in Kingsgrove, we’re proudly NDIS registered, and we’re still family owned and operated. Not because it’s a nice marketing line, but because it’s what keeps us honest. Michael isn’t just the founder of Mycarehub. He’s its toughest customer. If something doesn’t meet his standard as a participant, it doesn’t make it into this business. Simple as that.

The people behind Mycarehub
Every person on our team is here for the same reason. Because this work matters, and because we believe people with disability deserve support that is consistent, genuine, and built around them.
We are a small, close-knit team based in Kingsgrove. That is deliberate. It means every participant gets to know us, and we get to know them.
Rebecca, Co-Founder
Rebecca has spent her entire working life looking after people. From childcare and volunteer work at Meals on Wheels and Banksia Nursing Home, to hands-on support work with Hireup, caring for others has always come naturally to her.
Today she manages the day-to-day operations of Mycarehub, keeping everything running smoothly so that participants and their families always feel supported, informed, and in good hands.
Rebecca is the reason Mycarehub feels the way it does when you first get in touch.
Michael, Co-Founder
Michael brings an unlikely combination to the disability support world. The empathy of someone living the NDIS journey firsthand, and the discipline of an engineer who has spent thirty years building complex things properly.
Diagnosed with MS in 2014 and joining the NDIS pilot, Michael experienced the system from the inside. He knew what good support should feel like, and he knew what it too often felt like instead. So in 2019 he founded Mycarehub to fix it.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Sydney, and brings decades of experience across banking, telecommunications, and project management.
That background shapes everything about how Mycarehub is run. The technology platform we’ve built, the rigour of our worker screening, the transparency of our processes, and the standard we hold ourselves to every single day.
